Corin Group Completes First Case With Apollo Robotic Surgical Platform

Corin Group has completed its first case using its Apollo platform and its ApolloKnee software for robotic-assisted total knee arthroplasty. Both the Apollo platform and the ApolloKnee software have FDA 510(k) clearance and EU CE mark.
 
The Apollo station is a compact system made to support multiple surgical applications and streamline a wireless integration to CorinConnect for seamless follow-ups and clinical research.
 
The system is designed to create and implement personalized surgical plans for each patient. Available tools include autonomous planning tailored to the surgeon’s preferences and alignment philosophy, gesture-controlled workflow, and a robotic cutting guide for the precise implementation of femoral and tibial cuts.

Surgeons can review data from past procedures before and during surgery as well as view the patients’ reported outcomes.
